Almost 160,000 Canadians already know it, but in case you’ve missed it, the message is: BIG Things are happening in Dallas. And that’s not only the theme of the city’s brand, new marketing campaign, it’s an actual fact as Dallas is being invigorated with US$380 million in new tourism investment. Out of Canada, Dallas has seen its arrival numbers grow by a dramatic 23.7% in 2013, compared to the same period in 2012. And the CVB’s vice-president tourism, Dave Krupinski (r) and its vice-president communications, Priscilla Hagstrom (l) were in Toronto recently to spread the word about Dallas’ new campaign and all of the major happenings going on in the city.
