The Azores Tourism Association (ATA) hosted a group of Canadian and US tour operators last week, giving them a chance to explore and discover the wonders of four of The Azores’ nine islands. The group got to visit and experience a range of accommodations on São Miguel, the largest of the islands, Pico, home of Portugal’s highest mountain, Faial, a favourite port of call for international yacht crews crossing the Atlantic, and Terceira, known as the island of festivals.
