EL AL has introduced UP, which will begin operations on March 30 to five destinations in Europe from Israel — Berlin, Budapest, Kiev, Prague and Larnaca. EL AL CEO Elyezer Shkedy commented, “Today we are pleased to present the first plane of EL AL’s new aviation brand – UP – that will offer low fare flights to European destinations. In the coming weeks, four additional aircraft will complete the UP feet.” The plane is configured for 144 Economy Class seats and 36 Economy Class Plus seats.
