Air Canada Vacations will be operating direct flights from Toronto to George Town, Dec. 19, 2021.
ACV’s Airbus A220-300 flights will run once a week on Sundays until April 17, 2022, departing at 9:30 a.m. from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport and arriving in The Bahamas by 1 p.m.
The Islands of The Bahamas newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, the Hon. I. Chester Cooper, said: “We are excited to welcome new and returning Canadian visitors who want to escape the winter weather, to visit and enjoy the beautiful Out Island of Exuma.”
The Prime Minister continued: “Air Canada Vacation’s direct flight from Toronto Pearson to George Town not only benefits travellers but also the local community on Exuma.”

Effective Nov. 8, 2021, Air Canada will also be offering daily flights from Toronto to Nassau, and beginning in December, weekend flights will be available from Montreal to Nassau.
