Tourism officials from Oregon have been in Canada this past week promoting all things Oregon and held a “Taste of Oregon” dinner last night (March 29) in Toronto. Oregon is known for its culinary travel (the state is home to more than 400 wineries and Portland is known as the micro-brewery capital of North America) and “great outdoors.” On May 1, Air Canada will begin daily Toronto-Portland service. The airline also offers flights from Vancouver and Calgary. Pictured at the Toronto event are (l-r) in the front: Teresa O’Neil, V.P. Global Sales, Travel Oregon.
