Octant Évora expands meetings & groups offerings
Octant Évora, located on 27 acres within the UNESCO-listed city of Évora in Portugal’s Alentejo region since 2021, expands its meetings and groups offerings with the launch of its six-hectare Perdiganito Reserve. Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of Europe’s largest reservoir, the expansion project offers unique experiences for meetings and groups of all ages while preserving the natural reserve’s authenticity.
The property’s location provides easy access to cultural attractions while offering the seclusion needed for focused corporate gatherings. Designed by architect Teresa Barão, the latest outdoor space emphasizes authenticity through its choice of materials, encouraging guests to reconnect with nature and admire the expansive plain leading to the Monte Novo reservoir. Activities include horseback riding, bird watching, exploring the Perdiganito ruins, hot-air balloon rides, cycling, and wine tasting.
“The new Perdiganito Reserve is Octant Évora’s new natural refuge for meetings and groups, reinforcing our commitment to nature preservation and respect for the traditions that shape this region,” says Sérgio Duarte, General Manager of Octant Évora. “We’re offering meeting and event planners a destination that combines professional excellence with authentic Portuguese experiences, all within a UNESCO World Heritage setting.”
Group packages include customized programming, dedicated event coordination, and special rates for extended stays. The property’s expert events team creates bespoke experiences incorporating local traditions, outdoor adventures, and wellness activities.
