No Right Or Wrong Place To Start … Just Start

Shannon Guihan, TTC’s Chief Sustainability Officer & Head of TreadRight, observes that: “The world is facing a myriad of challenges with geopolitical concerns, rising costs across the board, with climate adaptation and the need to increase representation as exciting opportunities. These are all issues we must address as individual businesses and as a sector if tourism destinations are to remain vibrant and continue to welcome us.”

At one point, Guihan observes: “We must consider how to integrate tactics that build vibrancy in destinations and resiliency into our business. That is the recovery that we need, one addressed hand in glove with sustainability, not at odds with it.”
