New zipline tours add to adventure in Alaska
Thrill seekers now have even more chances to enjoy Alaska’s beauty from above, with new canopy tours that have debuted across the Last Frontier this summer. In May, Mica Guide’s Glacier View Adventures opened in the Mat-Su valley, featuring a zipline that soars 65 metres high and stretches over a half km in distance, with views of surrounding mountains and the Matanuska Glacier. Also, Denali Zipline Tours, located in Talkeetna, opened in June with eight zipline courses that stretch across the northern boreal forest with a birds-eye view of Mount McKinley and the Alaska Range.
