New Master Franchise Deal Signed

UNIGLOBE Travel (International) is pleased to announce the renewed commitment from UNIGLOBE Travel (Western Canada) as the region signs a 5-year Master Franchise Agreement with UNIGLOBE Travel (International) LP.

Already a well-established region of UNIGLOBE, with more than 25 years as a master franchise, Irv Wight, president of UNIGLOBE Travel (Western Canada), is committed to continuing to grow the franchise’s volume and footprint in Western Canada. The region has identified a significant growth opportunity in leisure and group travel.

“This is an excellent time to focus on the growth of our franchisees in areas of our core strength – the Leisure traveler, SME corporate, Groups and our Independent agents,” says Wight. “A new 5-year agreement supports our commitment to the UNIGLOBE brand and our partner relationships.”

In addition, UNIGLOBE Travel (Western Canada) is pleased to announce the formation of UNIGLOBE LGI Travel which consists of nine mature agency locations across Western Canada. UNIGLOBE LGI Travel is focused on delivering premium service for Leisure, Groups, and Independent travel arrangement.

For the past 25 years, the 35 plus travel professionals that will now be operating under UNIGLOBE LGI Travel have earned the reputation as leaders in managing groups and customized vacation packages. They look forward to continuing that high level of service.
