New app is guide to Royal Footsteps on Kona coast

Visitors to the Big Island can now virtually traverse the Royal Footsteps Along the Kona Coast, a Hawaii Scenic Byway that stretches some 11 km along Kailua-Kona’s Alii Drive. This is by using a new Kona Royal Footsteps app commissioned by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District. Users will have access to historical information and photos, as well as to tips for ocean recreation, area accommodations, shoreline access and more. The free app is available for smart phones or tablets and can be found by searching “Royal Kona Guide”or “Kona Royal Footsteps.”(http://www.historickailuavillage.com)
