NCL appoints Valérie Lavigne as BDM, Quebec & Atlantic Canada

Norwegian Cruise Line has hired Valérie Lavigne as a business development manager (BDM) for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, effective July 29.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have Valérie join the Norwegian Cruise Line team,” said Katie Kania, national director of sales and marketing, Canada. “Valérie is very well known and respected already, having worked closely with the trade community as an inside sales representative at Celebrity. We are delighted to welcome Valérie to NCL and reaffirm our commitment to Partners First, as we prepare for the upcoming launch of Norwegian Aqua in 2025.”

“I am very excited to join the NCL family and I am very thankful to Katie for giving me this opportunity to grow from an Inside Sales Representative role to a Business Development Manager role,” said Lavigne. “I am looking forward to reconnecting with our valued travel partners to share the NCL product! I have been very passionate about the cruise line industry since I was a teenager, and I am happy to be progressing in my career in an industry that I love.”

Lavigne remains in training for the next few weeks, and is looking forward to being able to work with the agent community for their business development and marketing needs.
