MSC Cruises Canada Appoints Jacinto In The West

MSC Cruises Canada has appointed Ramon Jacinto as Business Development Manager for Western & Central Canada, based in Vancouver.

Jacinto brings over 20 years of experience in the Canadian travel industry, beginning his career in the hospitality and the airline industry, and most recently representing another cruise brand.

Ian Patterson, country manager, Canada for MSC Cruises, said: “Having vast experience working alongside our travel partners, Ramon takes pride in being able to relate to them and anticipate their needs. Ramon will use his expertise in cruise to help identify new opportunities and drive continued growth from Manitoba to British Columbia.”

On his appointment, Jacinto said: “I am excited to join a brand as dynamic as MSC Cruises, and one with such incredible growth on the horizon. As an avid cruiser, I feel it is a great fit and I’m eager to contribute to the cruise line’s mounting success in North America.”

In an additional move to strengthen its presence in Western Canada, MSC Cruises has appointed Chrysoline Herten to the position of Inside Sales Co-ordinator.

Herten will be based in Vancouver; rejoining MSC Cruises Canada, where she had previously worked in the Contact Centre and Groups department out of its head office in Mississauga, Ontario.

Said Patterson: “We feel that this is an important time to grow our Inside Sales department and Chrysoline will assist us to provide more agency support in Western Canada.”
