Marvellous Myrtle Beach

Every now and then there is a destination that seems to have something for visitors of all ages. In this week’s Voices of Travel podcast, host Ron Pradinuk thinks he has found one of those places in Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

It is a family destination with big attractions like the Medieval Times Dinner Theatre, excellent water parks, a giant SkyWheel on the beach which seems to go on forever, not to mention every possible brand of pancake house which seem to pop up on every corner.

While it hosts the world’s largest amateur handicap golf tournament at the end of August each year, it is its 90 golf tracks that attract groups and couples from spring until deep into fall.
Its seafood restaurants are renowned, and it offers accommodation options for every budget and style of traveller, and its shopping areas are often tied to family attractions as well.
The connected communities of Greater Myrtle Beach are both different and unique. And if art is on your agenda, the sculptures at Brookgreen Gardens will impress the most discerning visitor.
It starts with the famous beach, known as the Grand Strand, but it is a community area that is truly an area of discovery for anyone who visits.
So if you want to find out more about Greater Myrtle Beach to this week’s Voices of Travel.
