Manulife Promotes Waver To New Role
Manulife has promoted Jennifer Waver to AVP, Head of Distribution for Travel Insurance.
The promotion took effect Sept. 1, 2023 and Waver will be responsible for strengthening existing client relationships and spearheading the continued successful growth of all Manulife Individual travel insurance sales distribution channels, including retail travel industry distribution, broker sales and Affinity Sponsored Markets channels.
Waver brings over 25 years of travel insurance expertise. During this time, she has proven herself in the retail travel industry as a dedicated expert in both insurance as well as travel. Waver has built and led the National Sales Team in the retail travel channel with great success, leading to many industry awards for Manulife. Her combined energy, passion and industry knowledge are unmatched, and her mentorship has led to another announcement.
Manulife also announced that Shelley Kopys has been named Director, Travel Insurance Distribution, and will lead the Client Management team for retail travel agency insurance at Manulife.
Kopys also has over 25 years of expertise in this channel, bringing the same energy and dedication to this industry, your clients and our mutual customers. She will be responsible for the overall Client Management of the retail travel agency channel. She will also continue to manage specific accounts in a senior capacity.
