Transat is creating a new distribution unit that will be led by Joseph Adamo, who takes on the role of vice-president and chief distribution officer for Transat Tours Canada (TTC).

The new distribution unit groups the company’s commercialization and Customer Care Centre resources.

Nathalie Boyer will take over the role of general manager, Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), a post that Adamo has held since 2013.

Boyer has been a member of the TDC executive for the past 17 years and will take on her new duties on May 1, 2017.

In making the announcement, Jean-Marc Eustache, president and CEO, Transat, said that:

“By further developing our expertise in distribution, we aim to strengthen our business relationships with our partner agency networks and optimize sales of our products, under the Transat and Air Transat brands.”

Eustache continued:

“In so doing, we acknowledge the strength and importance of the Canadian agency network when it comes to travel distribution, starting with our own network. Our teams and partners will be able to look to the experience and leadership of Joseph Adamo and Nathalie Boyer, both of whom are seasoned professionals and passionately committed to their work.”
