Lighting the Way at Grouse Mountain
Grouse Mountain gets the nod as Vancouver’s signature local ski mountain, with its wide main runs brightly lit and widely visible.
It is just 14 km from downtown Vancouver and is the nearest of the city’s three ski mountains. That spectre has been improved with the installation of LED lights that shine on previously dark trails at night, including the expert Blazes run.
Grouse Mountain’s base chalet and ski lifts are reached on the Skyride gondola. At the top are 26 runs serviced by four primary chairlifts. Grouse also features freestyle terrain parks, 10 km of groomed snowshoe trails, an outdoor ice-skating rink and top dining with spectacular views.
