JNTO welcomes Yuka Suzuki as new executive director
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has appointed Yuka Suzuki to the role of executive director, effective immediately.
A seasoned tourism professional with more than three decades of experience, Suzuki brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role, where she works from the Toronto office.
Suzuki has dedicated much of her career to fostering stronger connections between Japan and Canada, making her uniquely qualified to promote Japan as a premier destination for both business and leisure travellers. With a proven track record in developing and implementing successful destination marketing strategies, Suzuki deeply understands the Canadian market.
Her previous roles with Destination British Columbia (Tokyo Office) and JTB (one of the largest travel agencies in Japan) have provided her with invaluable insights into the evolving Canadian travel landscape.
Suzuki’s multidisciplinary expertise in media relations, public relations, and campaign management blends seamlessly with her passion for Japan and Canada, making her an ideal advocate for Japanese tourism.
