Jamaica Gears Up For Canada Trade Week In November
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) looking forward to welcoming travel advisors to join destination representatives and suppliers at Jamaica Travel Expo & Destination Weddings Showcase events in Calgary on Nov. 7; Montréal on Nov. 9, and Toronto on Nov. 10.
Jamaica’s multi-market Canada Trade Week events will give agents an exclusive opportunity to meet with local and on-island suppliers and destination wedding vendors to learn about the latest product updates and resort developments in Jamaica.
Each regional event will feature dedicated product training sessions from 3 to 5 p.m. followed by a Destination Showcase from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with live entertainment, Caribbean-inspired cuisine, games, photo opportunities and prize giveaways.
Angella Bennett, Regional Director, Canada, JTB, said: “The Jamaica Travel Expo and Destination Weddings Showcase will be the JTB’s first major in-person show since 2019, and we are anticipating more than 450 agents to join us for these exciting trade week events across the country.”
Bennett continued: “We can’t wait to bring the vibrant spirit of Jamaica to Calgary, Montréal and Toronto this fall. Each regional event will give retail agents a chance to learn from the country’s top suppliers, hear the latest destination developments, and enjoy some world-class island fun and prizes.”
