ITRAVEL2000 SOLD

Aldenham Canada Acquisition Corporation has entered into a sale agreement to acquire itravel2000 in what it says is a “strategic, long-term investment in the growing online travel industry.”

While in the initial announcement it was indicated that the agreement is subject to approval by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, at press time, sources told Press Today that the sale transaction has been approved by the courts and a further announcement from the company is expected today.
Press Today was also told that a new Ontario registration has already been approved, allowing for a smooth transition.
Chris Howell (pictured), former chairman, Travelzest PLC, said: “This acquisition ensures that itravel2000 will continue to offer customers exceptional travel selection for the best value and the lowest prices guaranteed on travel and travel related products with no interruption to services or travel.”

He continued: “Today marks a significant and exciting business milestone for us and for Aldenham Canada as we come together with a strengthened management team and true focus on our business going forward.”

While “itravel2000 customers won’t see any changes to vacations booked or being planned, and TRAVELCASH gift cards remain valid as usual, what this ownership change does offer travellers is continuity of superb customer service, competitive rates and amazing travel experiences for years to come,” the company says.

Aldenham Canada is a privately held, Canadian incorporated investment company focused on building long-term investments in the online travel sector.
