Insight, Luxury Gold Give Back
April is dedicated to celebrating Earth Month, and so April 11 marked a special day for Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold, and the affiliated The TreadRight Foundation, which launched Global Volunteer Day to celebrate Insight’s 41st anniversary and Earth Month.
Team members around the world worked to give back to their local communities.
Together with Insight and Luxury Gold’s existing partner, One Tree Planted, a not-for-profit organization focused on global reforestation, regional teams participated in a tree-planting day, while other teams engaged in other Earth Month activities, including by picking up litter and cleaning up shorelines.
As part of The Travel Corporation’s family of brands, Insight Vacations Cares and Luxury Gold Cares are founding members of The TreadRight Foundation. The brands are aligned with TreadRight’s three key pillars, working to conserve and protect the planet, wildlife and people of the local communities visited through their immersive journeys.
Along with One Tree Planted, Insight has committed to planting one tree in California for every guest who chooses to receive their travel documents electronically as e-Documents. Luxury Gold has made the same commitment in India.
April 11 saw Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold teams host a volunteer day at the Toronto-area Oak Ridges Trail in partnership with One Tree Planted, together working to ensure a healthy tree population.
