Hilton Opens 100th Hotel in Latin America
Hilton recently celebrated the opening of its 100th hotel in Latin America with the opening of Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana.
The 545-room beachfront Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana is one of the largest hotels in the famous Copacabana neighbourhood, one of Brazil’s most visited destinations, and represents Hilton’s second property in the city.
The beachfront hotel in Rio, which was built in 1975 and completed an extensive renovation in 2011, includes 545 rooms featuring the brand’s sophisticated amenities for guests travelling on leisure or business to the South zone of Rio de Janeiro. In-room amenities include complimentary coffee machine with capsules and tea, the exclusive Suite Dreams mattress, smart LCD TVs, clock radio with Bluetooth connection, safe and minibar.
Two exclusive pools, one with a 360-degree view of the city’s three main tourist attractions – Copacabana Beach, Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf, a full-service spa and beach area provide the backdrop for relaxation and memorable experiences.
Also available are two restaurants and three bars. For meetings and events, Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana offers 36 flexible spaces for up to 500 attendees, ideal for banquets, corporate meetings and special events.
To celebrate the hotel’s opening, through Aug. 2 Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana is offering a fourth night free for guests who book three nights, and Hilton Honors members can earn 1,000 Hilton Honors Points per night.
