Hertz AGR Points ‘Twice as Nice’
To thank travel agents for their loyalty, Hertz has launched the “Hertz Agent Gold Rewards” program – a loyalty program designed to reward agents for the value they bring to the car rental company.
Mandy Alberga, national account manager for Hertz Canada, commented, “The Agent Gold Rewards program is our way of thanking agents for booking Hertz, and for rewarding them for their loyalty to us over the years.”
Joining the Agent Gold Rewards program is easy. Agents simply enrol at http://www.hertzagentgold.com to receive a unique “AGR” number which they can include in the appropriate GDS field when booking. Each qualifying rental of three days or more earns 10 points which are banked in the agent’s personal Agent Gold Rewards Account.
Points can be redeemed for a variety of reward choices including gift cards, items for the home or office, event tickets, as well as free car rental day certificates.
There are also opportunities throughout the year to earn bonus points, including this fall’s “Twice As Nice” promotion. Starting Oct. 27, and running through Dec. 15, Hertz is offering Double Agent Gold Rewards points on all qualifying weekly rentals in Canada and the US when agents book premium cars and above. For International destinations, agents can earn double points on all qualifying three-plus day rentals on all car classes in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Alberga added, “Just recently it was brought to our attention that the enrollment process was asking a Canadian travel agent for a Social Security Number and you can rest assured that we have fixed this issue, there’s no need for a Canadian travel agent to provide us with that form of identification.”
Once enrolled agents can go online to monitor their reward activity and profile information. GDS training tutorials are also provided within the Travel Agent section of hertz.ca.
