‘Heating Up’ in Manitoba
It was all things Manitoba last night as tourism officials hosted an industry event in Toronto to update travel personnel on all that’s going on in the province – and there’s plenty.
“Things are really heating up in Manitoba and I’m not talking about the weather,” said Cathy Senecal of Travel Manitoba. “There’s so much going on.”
Highlights include the newly opened Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg and the new Journey to Churchill exhibit in the city’s Assiniboine Park Zoo.
One Winnipeg official said there’s so much going on in Winnipeg, “it’s the place to be in Canada at the moment.”
