Goway Introduces Ethiopia
New to Goway’s destination line-up is Ethiopia.
According to Moira Smith, Goway’s general manager for Africa, Ethiopia is the perfect addition to Goway’s portfolio. “Ethiopia offers so much for the discerning globetrotter. It’s perfect for those who travel for adventure, authenticity, culture and history.”
Ethiopia is home to more UNESCO Heritage sites than any other destination in Africa. These include the medieval world of rock hewn churches in Lalibela, considered the eighth wonder of the world. Axum, where the original Ark of the Covenant is said to reside, has a history which goes back to 10BC.
Goway offers a seven-night tour of the historic north which includes both Lalibela and Axum, as well as visits to Gondar, Bahir dar and the Simien Mountains. For customers more interested in the intriguing and interesting tribes living in the lowlands of the south, Goway offers the Cultural South.
