Globus promotes Denise Harper to managing director, sales

Globus is deepening its commitment to Canadian advisors by expanding its sales team, reinforcing support and ensuring that doing business with the Globus family of brands is easier than ever.

To strengthen its network and provide enhanced support, the company has invested in a refreshed leadership structure. Specifically, Denise Harper has been promoted to managing director, Canada sales, overseeing national and regional partnerships at the head office and consortia levels.

In addition, reporting to her, Billy Stewart has been named national trade sales manager, taking full accountability for Canada’s Business Development Manager (BDM) team. This strategic shift enhances collaboration between the field sales team and agency partners, ensuring a more engaged approach.

To further support Canadian trade partners, the Globus family of brands recently announced that it had expanded its field team with the addition of two, new BDMs: Gina Goranson (British Columbia) and Elaine French(Ontario), bringing the total to seven BDMs serving partners nationwide. This, in addition to the company prioritizing in-person engagement through training sessions, events and Cruise Director / Tour Director roadshows, which are especially valuable for the growing number of home-based advisors.

Two new inside sales managers

Further enhancing its ability to support advisors, the Globus family of brands has also just introduced two, new inside sales account managers:

  • Joanne Fillion (Central & Western Canada) is a seasoned expert with 17 years of travel industry sales, business development and advisor training.
  • Danielle Friel (Ontario, Quebec & Atlantic Canada) is a travel sales and digital marketing specialist with extensive experience in travel advisor support and customer relationship management.

Both roles are designed to drive engagement, increase relationships and streamline sales processes. Fillion and Friel will work closely with the BDM team to assist agencies with sales and marketing efforts, onboard new advisors and provide essential tools to help Canadian travel professionals grow their business with the Globus family of brands.

“With these strategic additions and promotions, the Globus family of brands is doubling down on its commitment to Canadian travel advisors,” said Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands. “By continuing to expand our team and enhance our support structure, we’re making it easier for advisors to do business with us.
