Globus Goes ‘Down Under’
Globus has unveiled its 2020 line-up of South Pacific vacations, highlighted by five new escorted group vacations and featuring Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
“We’re seeing a significant increase in interest in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji as travellers put them high on their wish-lists,” says Stéphanie Bishop of the Globus family of brands’ Canadian office. “As a result, we’ve increased our vacations by 50% with new, immersive journeys to Australia – including Tasmania – and to New Zealand.”
Memorable moments, she adds, include a visit to a kangaroo sanctuary on the Australian Safari, a premium wine-tasting on the Best Kept Secret: Western Australia tour and exploring the surprisingly delicious foodie culture of the island state on the Wild Tasmania tour.
Transportation is by air-conditioned motorcoach with free WiFi.
New South Pacific tours ranging from nine to 25 days include Wild Tasmania (nine days); Great Sights of Australia (12 days); Best Kept Secret: Western Australia (19 days); Australian Safari (21 days); South Pacific by Land & Sea (25 days).
Every Globus itinerary invites travellers beyond the typical must-see sights with Local Favorites, memorable moments of local culture and connection, such as a cruise on the scenic Tasman Peninsula with a chance to view whales, seals and dolphins during the new Australian Safari, partaking in a “flavours of South Australia” dinner on the Across Australia on the Historic Indian Pacific Train vacation and going behind-the-scenes at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, founded by Steve and Terri Irwin, on the new Great Sights of Australia itinerary.
Those booking by April 28, 2020 can save 5% on their trips.
