G Adventures Sets Sail With A Nautical Theme
G Adventures is setting sail with a nautical theme, launching an initiative that features 15% off marine trips booked throughout February; a training webinar to support partners when selling water-based adventures; and the opportunity for one lucky agent to win a space on a Sailing St Lucia & the Grenadines sailing itinerary. And to provide even more incentive to get onboard, the small group adventure operator is also offering agents a bonus 2% commission on all new bookings made during the month of February as part of its G-Normous agent incentive.
Itineraries with 15% off include G Adventures’ sailing trips in the British Virgin Islands, Canary Islands, Croatia, Cuba, Greece, the Maldives, Montenegro, Sri Lanka, St Vincent & the Grenadines, and Thailand, plus adventures by boat in the Galapagos Islands, and river-based experiences in the Amazon, Burgundy and along on the Mekong.
Trips can be booked up until 11.59pm EST on Feb. 28, 2021 and are available for travel up until June 30, 2022.
When’s The Webinar?
The Sailing with G Adventures webinar is being held this Thursday, Feb. 11 at 11.00 am PST / 2.00 pm EST and will be hosted by G Adventures’ global sailing manager, Vince Donnelly, who joins global purpose specialist Erin Rogers to take us out of our home offices and around the world from the Greek Islands to St. Lucia and Cuba.
To register for the webinar, agents can go to http://bit.ly/3pKvquZ .
What About The Prize?
And last, but not least, the team at G Adventures is also giving one agent the opportunity to experience a sailing trip in real life by earning a spot on the Sailing St Lucia and The Grenadines itinerary.
Agents will be awarded points for sharing the Marine Sale on their social channels, with an additional point awarded for joining the webinar, where more details on how to earn extra points will be revealed.
And agents can find more information (and ways to win) on the Agents of Change Canada Facebook group where they can ask questions of G Adventures’ team of global purpose specialists.
G Adventures’ national sales manager, Sean Russo says the Marine travel style has been popular for bookings with sales for Canada more than doubling in interest year-on-year for the month of January at 36% of new bookings for January 2021, vs 16% in January 2020.
Said Russo: “People like the idea of travelling in their own floating ‘bubble’ as health and safety precautions continue to factor into travellers’ holiday choices, so we’re also seeing increased interest in agent-led private group bookings on our water-based tours.”
He also pointed out that: “Our Marine trips take people away from the trodden tourist routes and out to remote islands and spaces, plus travellers can rest assured we have them covered onboard with our enhanced Travel with Confidence health and safety policy.”
