Florida Under Tropical Storm Watch

Florida governor Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency in every county within the state of Florida in preparation for Tropical Storm Erika.

The storm — which has already wreaked havoc in parts of the Caribbean and especially Dominica — is currently located in the north-eastern Caribbean Sea and is expected to travel up Florida’s peninsula as early as Monday (Aug. 31).
