Flight Centre Helps Out
For the second year in a row, Flight Centre has partnered with Food Banks Canada to provide free meals for those in need.
As part of its “No. Hungry. Holidays.” campaign, the travel brand has pledged to donate six meals for every Captain’s Package booking made in December, with a goal of providing 75,000 free meals to food-insecure communities.
Food Banks Canada provides national leadership to relieve hunger today and prevent hunger tomorrow in collaboration with the food bank network in Canada.
For every Captain’s Package sold in December, Flight Centre will donate $2, which equates to six meals, to help Food Banks Canada ensure that no one goes hungry this holiday season.
In addition to the monetary contribution that the brand will make, from now through the end of December, all Flight Centre locations will serve as collection sites for non-perishable food donations that will be delivered to Food Banks Canada.
