Feds Set To End Vaccine Mandates

Reports indicate that the federal government is set to announce that it is ending vaccine mandates for domestic travel on planes and trains as well as for international travel.

In effect since Oct. 30, 2021, the removal of the mandates comes following the federal government’s temporary suspension of random arrival testing at Canadian airports last week.

The expected announcement comes following a strong lobby effort by this country’s travel and tourism industry along with opposition parties’ pressing the government to make changes.
