FCM Hosting LGBTQ+ Webinar

FCM will be hosting a live webinar on June 29 at 12pm EST to culminate its “FCM Travels with Pride” campaign.

Featuring industry experts and LGBTQ+ advocates, the webinar will include insights about LGBTQ+ corporate traveler needs, resources for building an inclusive and intersectional travel program, as well as the opportunity for attendees to submit questions.

The webinar will be moderated by Flight Centre Travel Group Americas Diversity Equity and Inclusion Manager Emese Graham and expert panelists include Stone Conroy, Geopolitical Analysis and Intelligence Manager of United Airlines and Ruben Van Schalkwyk, Regional Security Manager EMEA of Aon.

United is a recognized industry leader for LGBTQ+ inclusive policies and practices including community partnerships and business resource groups and was the first US airline to accommodate X gender markers in their booking system.

Conroy said: “It’s always important to think about safety and security considerations while traveling, but this is especially true for members of the LGBTQ+ community. As travel ramps up this summer, individuals and businesses should review their travel risk management policies and practices to ensure trips are as safe as they can be.”

Van Schalkwyk’s DEI experience has included providing LGBTQ+ travel training with Maiden Voyages.
