Explore The World With Emerald Cruises

With the new year on the horizon and future travel planning in full swing, Emerald Cruises is ushering in wave season with their Explore the World campaign.

This campaign offers plenty of travel inspiration across three continents in addition to sizeable savings on an array of 2022 small ship river and ocean cruises. The campaign includes a digital mini-brochure covering all destinations and sailings included in the wave season offer.

Between Dec. 28, 2020 and Feb. 28, 2021, guests who book select 2022 European and Southeast Asian river cruises and pay in full 12 months in advance of departure qualify for Super Earlybird savings of an extra 10% off the cost of their booking in addition to the following offers:

• On 2022, European river cruises such as the 15-day Splendours of Europe between Amsterdam to Budapest, guests can save of up to $3,000 per couple depending on length of sailing and cabin category, and couples booking a suite on the Horizon Deck will receive €300 onboard credit;
• On 2022, Southeast Asia sailings of 13 days or longer like the epic Majestic Mekong Discoverer between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap, guests can save $4,000 per couple.

The Explore the World promotion also applies to Emerald Cruises’ 2022 yacht sailings in the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Red Seas aboard the soon-to-launch, 100-passenger Emerald Azzurra. Guests booking select suite or stateroom categories on 2022 cruises such as the inaugural, eight-day Best of the Red Sea itinerary will receive the Super Earlybird discount of up to 30% off the cost of the booking when paying in full 12 months prior to departure.

To help travellers with peace of mind, all bookings come with the line’s flexible booking policy that allows guests to defer travel plans and transfer to an alternate departure date or itinerary up to 60 days prior to departure with no Emerald Cruises fees.

The Deposit Protection Plan (value $125 per person on river cruises and $200 per person on yacht cruises) is a complimentary inclusion on all bookings, and allows guests flexibility with their travel dates without having to worry about losing their deposits.

Those looking for additional flexibility and security can purchase the new Platinum Protection Plan, which provides coverage for guests who may fall ill or who’s travel plans are affected by Covid-19.

The Platinum Protection Plan allows for 100% refund of cruise fare when enacted up to 31 days prior to departure, and 70% refund when enacted between 15 and 30 days prior.

This plan can be added to eligible river cruise bookings for CDN$395 per person and to Emerald Azzurra yacht sailings for CDN $495.

All bookings must be made between Dec. 28, 2020 and Feb. 28, 2021, and guests must pay the full balance no later than 12 months before departure to receive the Super Earlybird Discount.
