Expanding Collection
2016 was going to be a good year for Air Canada Vacations no matter what as the tour company celebrates its 35th anniversary, but it’s going to be even better as the operator expands its Europe product collection, steadily-growing its portfolio of vacation packages.
This year, ACV is introducing three new destinations in Eastern Europe – Budapest, Prague, and Warsaw – as well as Casablanca in Morocco, the first African city available to book with Air Canada Vacations.
Rounding out the expanded collection are new non-stop flights, multi-day tours, and hotels in top-selling cities.
Eamonn Ferrin, president and COO of Air Canada Vacations, observed: “As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, and as part of our ongoing growth strategy, we’re offering Canadians more options to explore the continent – exciting new destinations, new direct flights, new hotel options, and more tours.”
And for agents who have clients who like to get a head start on their holiday plans by booking early, ACV is offering some significant savings through its “Your Europe is NOW!” promotion.
Under that plan, couples can save $400 when booking with Air Canada Vacations from Feb. 22 to March 11, 2016, and $250 when booking from March 12 to March 31, 3016.
Those savings apply on all new bookings to Europe for travel between May 1 and Oct. 31, 2016. On top of these automatic savings, there are additional perks to booking early with Air Canada Vacations.
Travellers can enjoy exclusive offers, such as complimentary room nights and free excursions.
Aeroplan members earn an additional 5,000 bonus Aeroplan Miles, per couple, on all air and hotel packages to Europe with Air Canada Vacations (including multi-day tours).
Giving travellers even more incentive to visit the “Emerald Isle” in 2016, Aeroplan members will earn 10,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles, per couple, on all air and hotel packages to Ireland (including multi-day tours).
And ACV hasn’t forgotten its travel agency partners either. Agents can earn triple the ACV & Me points for combined air and hotel bookings (including multi-day tours) from Feb. 22 to March 11, 2016, and double the ACV & Me points for combined air and hotel bookings (including multi-day tours) from March 12 to March 31, 2016.
