European Holidays Of A Lifetime
Travellers booked on Goway’s recently launched Holidays of a Lifetime to Europe will enjoy a $300 per couple credit toward any airfares booked by Goway in conjunction with their trip.
These first class small group touring experiences go beyond the traditional European tour, and include countries such as Hungary, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Russia. All Goway’s Holidays of a Lifetime allow travellers “to experience, rather than just see the destination.”
The Splendours of Europe visits Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany and offers two departures in 2014 — June 6 and Aug. 8. The itinerary takes in the iconic cities of Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Dresden and Berlin. Included are a full day cruise on the Danube River, a Royal Spa treatment in Budapest, a picnic in the Vienna Woods, a jazz cruise and a visit to a well-known Czech brewery in Prague, a visit to the Meissen porcelain factory, a cooking class in Dresden and the famous Pergamon Museum and Potsdam in Berlin. This in-depth trip also offers guests concerts, special meals and more.
The Treasures of Russia plus Helsinki and Tallinn departs July 15 and Sept. 9. Time spent in St. Petersburg includes a visit to the Hermitage, the Royal Jewellery Room, a cruise on the Neva River, a private cooking class, the Catherine Palace, a vodka tasting and a performance at the renowned Mariinsky Theatre. In Moscow, guests visit the Kremlin and the Armoury with its Czarist treasures, Lenin’s Tomb, ride on the metro system, and explore Tretyakov Art Gallery, the colourful Ismaylova Street Market and the Tolstoy Museum – all finished off with a performance at the famed Bolshoi Theatre. There are also stays in Helsinki in Finland and Tallinn in Estonia to round off this Holiday of a Lifetime experience.
