EL SALVADOR TO HOST SEPTEMBER TRAVEL MARKET

El Salvador’s Ministry of Tourism has announced that it will launch its own exclusive travel and tourism trade show with the first edition of “El Salvador Travel Market 2013″to be held in San Salvador, Sept. 6. This new trade show will become a meeting point for buyers and wholesalers from El Salvador’s top source markets, the US and Canada, to meet and network exclusively with suppliers from El Salvador’s travel and tourism industry and learn more about the country’s diverse destinations and product offerings. The travel market aims to position El Salvador as a leading international travel destination. In addition to the one-on-one business meeting sessions scheduled for Sept. 6, North American buyers and wholesalers can also participate in a post-familiarization tour on Sept. 7 and 8 to experience first-hand the country’s diverse riches. More than 30 Salvadorian suppliers have been confirmed to attend “El Salvador Travel Market 2013,”including hotels, DMCs, airlines, as well as various operators specializing in eco and adventure travel, as well as cultural, archaeological, and historic tours.
