Diving into Anguilla’s New Tourism Policy
Anguilla’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Tourism announced the launch of the country’s new Dive Tourism Policy which aims to establish Anguilla as a year-round destination for sustainable diving earlier this year (Nov. 13, 2024)>
The policy is designed to create a framework for economic growth, community engagement, and guest safety while enshrining protections for Anguilla’s rich marine ecosystem, the policy will lay the groundwork for Anguilla to become a leading destination for aquatic adventure.
With several certified, reputable diving operators serving all skill and experience levels, diving in Anguilla is extremely accessible.
Dive to the well-preserved ruins of The Osterdiep, where explorers are greeted by a kaleidoscope of interesting marine life from radiant coral to graceful stingrays and slithering eels. Or, experience the wonder of Anguillita Reef, with its maze of underwater caves, offering many opportunities to observe moray eels, lobsters, and other fascinating creatures.
Blowing Rock leaves all visitors amazed with its dramatic rock formations and teeming marine life, while the aptly named Angel Reef is an exceptional venue to spot Angelfish, turtles, and rays.
