Discovering The Trafalgar Experience

An expanded Ireland program is being offered by Trafalgar to those considering vacationing in Europe in 2015.

The tour operator’s Wolf Paunic told a Sept. 16 Toronto gathering marking the release of a company brochure that Trafalgar offers “the most choices and best experiences” when it comes to Ireland, thanks in part to its acquiring Brendan Vacations, which has a large Ireland presence.

Among options that await Trafalgar clients in Ireland are stays in Ashford Castle, which once belonged to the Guinness family of Guinness Beer fame.

Paunic also praised Trafalgar’s Be My Guest program, which he said makes it easier for travellers to meet “local characters,” dine on authentic food and stay in “authentic accommodation.”

Italy is Trafalgar’s top destination.

Paunic also said Trafalgar “pays the best commissions in the industry, at least in our category.”

Liesa Bissett of Trafalgar’s London office reported that Trafalgar will restart its Egypt program in January, which won’t have single supplements. Greece is rebounding strongly, she added.
