Discovering Europe With The Globus Family Of Brands
The Globus family of brands reports its Europe program literally spans the continent, stretching from Portugal into Eastern Europe.
And Carla Brake, the company’s Canadian director of business development, says her employer can easily accommodate those with different travel interests.
“The depth and breadth of our portfolio is really vast…,” she told a Baxter Media webcast. “We really feel that we have something for everyone.”
Globus family of brands has over 700 vacations on six continents.
The webcast follows the introduction of the company’s Now Is Our Time campaign. “We feel that now is the time to plan that holiday,” Brake said.
Brake said her company’s 2022 sales are “looking really good,” with customers really wanting “to have something to look forward to.”
Europe is seeing the most demand from company customers, with Brake reporting that Italy is the most popular country on that continent, and sells well every year “as it definitely has it all for tourists.”
Globus family of brands customers have over 40 Italy tours to choose from.
Brake added that Ireland is a “favourite for Canadians,” who are offered 17 Ireland tours by her company.
Portugal — whose attributes include a “perfect year-round climate”— was identified as another popular choice.
Brake said Eastern Europe is benefitting from “great demand for some of the smaller countries” and Cosmos’ 15-day Central Europe tour includes such cities as Prague, Krakow, Budapest and Vienna.
Croatia is another “hot destination,” Brake continued.
Those opting for Avalon river cruises can see such cities as Belgrade, which Brake said combines historic attractions with a “laid back, casual atmosphere.”
Meanwhile, Brake said the Globus family of brands is determined to keep those booking it safe and those travelling with it this year and next must be fully vaccinated against coronavirus and masks must be worn when social distancing isn’t possible.
