Discover America Canada welcomes new board members
Discover America Canada recently hosted their AGM on March 25, at a sold-out event which included members and guests for the organization’s 2025 Annual General Meeting.
This was a great opportunity to discuss current travel and tourism topics including the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Canadian trade dispute and the Canadian loonie which has been sagging against the U.S. greenback for several months.
The AGM featured Canadian keynote speaker, Sophie Bukovec, Paris 2024 Olympian who shared her journey through the Canadian, U.S. and global elite sports worlds and provided her insights into resiliency and the pursuit of one’s goals, against all odds. Bukovec’s inspirational story came at a time when members were exhilarated to hear so much positivity and a story about grit, determination and beating all odds, especially during this unprecedented time in our industry.
