Alicia Kielek has been charged with three counts of operating as a travel agent without registration, contrary to section to the Travel Industry Act.
Kielek operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario. It is the fourth time Kielek has been charged under the Act. To date, a total of 29 counts have been laid against Kielek. The first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 19 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto.
Jinling Wei and Herui Travel and Tours Corp. (Herui Travel) have also been charged with operating as a travel agent without registration. Wei and Herui Travel operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario.
Wei and Herui Travel were previously charged by TICO and convicted in November 2012. The first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 19 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto.
In another matter, Marek Paszyn and Aquarius Scuba Diving Centre Inc. (Aquarius) were each charged with one count of operating as a travel agent without registration. Paszyn and Aquarius operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario. The first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 19 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto.
