Thompson Hotels has announced the opening of the Thompson Seattle luxury boutique hotel.

The 12-storey property is located next to iconic Pike Place Market, and has 158 modern guest rooms, including eight corner studios and two suites.

The hotel offers a signature restaurant, a rooftop bar and lounge with views of Puget Sound/Olympic Mountains and 465 sq. metres of indoor/outdoor event space. An opening special includes in-room welcome cocktails, a US$50 daily hotel credit and two tickets to the Chihuly Garden & Glass gallery at Seattle Center.
