Fat biking has been added to the Mont-Sainte-Anne’s winter activities roster, with the Quebec resort having 11 km of trails specially groomed for the sport. The trails are open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mont-Sainte-Anne Cross-Skiing Centre, located seven km east of the Alpine Ski Centre. Fat bikes are large-framed bikes equipped with over-sized tires, ideal for riding in the snow. These bikes are becoming increasingly popular within the cycling community. Daily rates are $11 for those aged 18 to 64; $10 for those 13 to 17 and 65 and over; and $25 for families. Two fat bikes are available for rental in a Cross-Skiing Centre shop.
