A delegation of executives representing Meliá Hotels International kicked off a Canada-wide road show recently in Toronto to update the trade on all that’s new at its brands in the Caribbean and Mexico – Paradisus by Meliá, Me by Meliá, and Meliá Hotels & Resorts.
In December, travellers will see the transformation of the Dominican Republic resort, Meliá Caribe Tropical, into two separate properties – Meliá Punta Cana Beach, an adults-only resort, and the family friendly Meliá Caribe Beach.
The two new hotels will debut with a variety of new programs, services and amenities. Both will feature THE LEVEL, Meliá’s signature elevated service concept, kind of a hotel-within-a-hotel concept and featuring exclusive and preferential facilities and amenities such as a VIP lounge for check-in/out, exclusive pool, restaurant, free Internet access, premium beverages, hors d’oeuvres and coffee and tea service throughout the day.
In addition, Meliá will also debut an all-new luxury 432-room property in the Dominican Republic – The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real.
Coming in 2019, Meliá will open its newest Mexico property – Paradisus Playa Mujeres.
Located north of Cancun, the luxury all-inclusive resort will boast 498 rooms, as well as four swimming pools, six bars and seven restaurants.
The road show continues today in Montreal, followed by stops in Edmonton and Vancouver.
