India’s Ministry of Tourism has launched a mobile app with which any tourist can take a picture of a monument area that needs attention or improvements (such as garbage laying in the area or graffiti) and submit it online for immediate action.

It goes to the responsible person and he or she “has to take immediate action” to correct the problem. The objective of the app is to make the 25 monuments (11 are UNESCO World Heritage Site monuments) more tourist friendly in terms of cleanliness and so on.
