The Guatemala Tourism Board will hold the 1st Annual “The Guatemala Experience (TGE)” May 16-20 in Guatemala City and Antigua.
The Guatemala Experience is designed to increase global travel industry awareness about the wide variety of tourism opportunities available in the diverse Central America country.
Tour operators, buyers and retail travel agents from primary international markets and Guatemala suppliers will be participating. Organizers estimate 200 delegates will attend the inaugural event.
Activities will include detailed product presentations; marketing workshops featuring the adventure, cultural, luxury, romance, and niche travel opportunities available in Guatemala; pre-scheduled business meetings between tour Operator buyers, travel agents, and Guatemala suppliers; hotel site inspections; pre- and post-tours, and attendance at the Guatemala Travel Industry Awards Dinner.
