Collette employees from the Mississauga office recently spent a half-day volunteering at Eden Food for Change as part of its commitment to Collette Cares.
The group began by touring the food bank and warehouse while learning about hunger in western Mississauga.
They then learned from a professional chef, Peter Costello, how to prepare healthy food for food bank members to prepare, portion and package for distribution. During their time, the group packaged 400 portions of food to be distributed during the holiday season.
