Vancouver International Airport (YVR) recently celebrated the start-up of China Eastern non-stop flights to Nanjing, China.
The new year-round service is operating three times per week to Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NKG). The flights are operating with an Airbus A330-200 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, leaving YVR at 10:30 a.m.
Vancouver is the only city in the country to operate flights to Nanjing. The new service also connects to Kunming, near the western edge of China. China Eastern Airlines has been operating at YVR for the past 12 years after launching daily services to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) in 2004.
