Brisbane, or “Brizzy” as best known to Aussies, will start making its presence more known in Canada when new flights start operating there next spring on Air Canada from Vancouver.

Tickets for the new AC flights are now available, for a schedule of flights that will start June 17, 2016. The flights will initially operate three times weekly, with an intention to increase to a daily service, subject to approvals.

The service will use a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with 20 business class lie-flat seat suites, 21 premium economy and 210 economy class seats.
