DCI named agency of record for Tourisme Montréal

Development Counsellors International (DCI) has been appointed the new public relations agency of record for Tourisme Montréal in the Canadian market.
This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Montréal’s tourism strategy, reinforcing the city’s commitment to attracting Canadian visitors with its vibrant cultural, culinary, and events scene.
Under this new agreement, DCI will develop and execute a strategic PR campaign aimed at increasing awareness and visitation from key Canadian markets. The campaign will spotlight Montréal’s unique offerings — from its world-class festivals and diverse food scene to its rich arts and history — positioning the city as a must-visit destination for Canadian travellers.
“Montréal holds a special place in the hearts of Canadian travellers, and we’re excited to bring fresh ideas and strategic storytelling to strengthen that connection,” said Tania Kedikian, Senior Account Director at DCI. “Our team’s deep understanding of the Canadian market and extensive tourism PR expertise will be instrumental in elevating Montréal’s profile and driving increased visitation from across the country.”
As part of the partnership, DCI will engage with top-tier Canadian media and influencers, facilitate press trips and media events, and leverage strategic partnerships to showcase the dynamic experiences Montréal has to offer. “We are thrilled to partner with DCI to further strengthen our presence in Canada,” said Sylvie Charette, Chief Marketing Officer at Tourisme Montréal. “Montréal is entering an exciting period with major events and new initiatives set to capture the imagination of Canadian travellers. DCI’s creative and strategic approach will help us share these stories in a fresh and compelling way, at a time where Canadians are increasingly choosing to travel domestically.”
DCI’s work with Tourisme Montréal will officially begin this month, with initial efforts focusing on building momentum for Montréal’s upcoming summer events and festivals.
