David Harris writes the next chapter in Voices of Travel

Calling it a passion, industry veteran, David Harris is proud to admit that the travel business is the only industry that he’s ever worked in.

And, over 40 years, Harris has had quite a career, starting in his parents’ travel agency, before moving onto increasingly more senior roles in the industry.

Harris talks about his mentors; what the industry was like four decades ago, describing it as the ‘wild, wild west;’ the impact and role of consortiums; the changes that he’s seen; advice for those looking to start a career in travel; and, naturally, what’s ahead for the industry in the next decade.
